2nd story down. this is modern britain and what happens if police catch you not wearing a mask, baton out and forcefully arrested and restrained. this is our society now. this is what passive, submissive attitudes about 'its just a booster, its just a mask, its just track and trace, its just another restriction' leads to, a damn police state where this is the norm.

You know it's funny. The current UK Government have been up to some pretty shocking stuff for several years, and the daily mail not to mention a few other papers, have been publishing some pretty shocking headlines over the years.

But I'd hazard a guess no complaints of outrage were made over those?






All good in the hood when the increasingly right, current government, and press, are doing all that stuff, no or few complaints.

But as soon as they like most of the world imposes restrictions in a pandemic, you cry blue murder, as if everything they did to everyone til then was just fine.

Has it ever been like this? I don't pay attention to what happens in the UK but with what's going on now I'm paying attention because it could be a warning they will try and bring that chit here. Has it ever been like this? I don't pay attention to what happens in the UK but with what's going on now I'm paying attention because it could be a warning they will try and bring that chit here. the majority think the rules are bull**** and wont follow them, especially now it turns out the government were having parties and laughing about it whilst everyone else was in lockdown. you dont have to be a genius to know if its as contagious as people say, you arent going to stop it spreading and even if you do, as soon as you open its going to spread again. people like koba twist what i say, its tragic that people are losing their lives but all this BS with muzzles, boosters, lockdowns, WFH isnt going to change it. everyone who wants it has had the miracle vaccine, i dont know what else can be done to stop it as it will keep mutating forever. i dont know why on this site all the UK posters seem to be pro lockdown and pro booster, doesnt reflect what i see in real life or what i read away from this forum.

apparantly astrazenica virus now offers 'next to zero protection' after first 2 doses and we need to all get the booster immediately, and protect the NHS from being 'overwhelmed' very soon. as things stand there are zero hospital admissions in UK due to omnicron, but ministers are looking at bringing in further restrictions and a 'plan c' is being drawn up. some government scientists have said they wont hesitate on locking us down if they need to.Scottish leader nicola sturgeon has said 'we may be facing, indeed we may be starting to experience a potential tsunami of infections. it will be perhaps the fastest exponential growth that we have seen in this pandemic' despite the uncertainty, she is very clear on what is needed- get your booster.

Not my experience. Getting the tube everyday 95% are wearing masks and being respectful. Same in shops too.

Went to the Tate yesterday (the Lubaina Himid exhibition is AMAZING) and everyone was wearing masks too.

I’m going to Bristol later, will let you know how things are there!!
