So you've forgotten about the standard childhood vaccine protocols I linked you a while back, or maybe you never looked at em?



Diptheria, tetanus, pertussis... all 5 dose vaccines.

PCV and polio 4 doses

Hep B 3 doses.

And if you'd taken the time to read my many explanations of how vaccines actaully work, how the immune system works and why multiple vaccine doses are absolutely a norm then you wouldn't need to be conjuring up conspiracies to explain it. I know you say you've 'researched' this stuff, but has any of that research actually involved picking up an epidemiology or virology textbook? Maybe looking at the chapters entitled 'infectious diseases? Or simply learning how vaccines work and how they activate the immune system in mimicry of an actual disease. If you undertood that then you would see how your apparent su****sion about repeat dosing really doesn't make much sense.

Seriously man if you ain't taken the time to understand what a pandemic response would be expected to look like then what possible grounds have you got for making a judgement on whether it's a 'con' or not? Anyways past a certain point whilst vaccines might temporarily boost antibodies the diminishing returns offer in T-cell development mean that it just ain't cost efficient any more.

I strongly suspect even Israel ain't gonna to go beyond 4 doses except possibly in the most vulnerable... at least not as a pandemic control strategy. Although I wouldn't be at all surprised to see annual doses doled out to the most vulnerable once this thing settles down.

Go announce you're leaving the thread forever and come back five minutes later because you misunderstood something on the Daily Mail website and got excited. Cry about vaccines all day every day for 2 years and then get emotional and outraged when asked if you've had the vaccine or not. Or better yet, go into more detail about how you believe the vaccine is 'the mark of the beast' and this was all predicted in the bible

I'd be less inclined to patronise you if you weren't so inclined to ridicule others man, but I'll try my best. Ain't much I can do about my verbose explanations unfortunately... not everything can be adequately explained in a sentence or two, but if you are gonna hold forth on a subject and offer strong opinions surely it's incumbent on you to actually make sure you know what you're talking about first?

WRT the rest we already covered most of it... I agree that the US's policy of discounting natural immunity in lieu of vaccination was both odd and unfair. Across Western Europe at least standard practice was to accept proof of previous infection as a substitute for vaccination for almost all puposes. WRT updated vaccines there was little need up til delta cos they were still working well, plans were put in place to update for delta but a) the plan was supersceded by the rapid emergence of Omicron and b) sufficient protection was offered by a third dose that it was logistically preferable - both quicker and cheaper - to work with what was available rather than doing nothing at all until a new modified vaccine could be tested, manufactured and rolled out. I suspect we might see the same with variant specific Omicron vaccine... although it's in the pipeline it's entirely likely by the time it's rolled out in en masse it might be largely redundant. Too early to say for sure however.

And New Zealand is New Zealand... the vaccines don't work any different there to other places, they've just taken a absolute mimimal risk, maximum prophylaxis approach to COVID from the get go.... and until now they were largely successful with it. If it does turn out that Omicron is the final major wave then I'd say their policy was pretty damn effective... at least at preventing immediate loss of life and serious illness. Whether that was worth the the quite severe restrictions on travel and the lockdowns they had is down to the people of NZ to decide I guess. Different countires - and different cultures - have different values and it ain't particularly for me to judge em.

we are living free though, new zealand and australia never will get that back fully they will always live on the edge knowing that any sort of increase in cases and they are getting their rights taken away from them again. the governments have got too powerful over there now, they liked the control, you saw it with djokovic they are literally overruling the courts now to get what they want.
