England Ends All COVID Passports, Mask Mandates, Work Restrictions

Very good news... just hope it ain't premature. Although not nearly as major to my mind as the House of Lords throwing out the Police Crime Sentencing and Courts Bill which happened on Monday night with narry a mention from our freedom loving 'vaccine sceptic' Scene Brits. Literally would have more or less removed the right of British people to protest and was one of the biggest assaults on our freedoms in living memory. Incredible that no-one else brought it up cos it was actually a far greater threat to our liberties than any of these temporary prophylactic COVID measures. This is probably roughly about as good news to me as the Supreme Court knocking down the vaccine mandates were to you.





FWIW I hope this also puts to bed the fairly absurd claims that the whole point of the COVID response was an effort to impose some kinda authoritarian dystopia on Britain or that Government was keeping us locked down and masked up for some more sinister pupose than the demonstrable transmission reduction benefits. Like I always said the crooks in charge always wanted people to get back to work but they were just scared that COVID might get right out of hand.

It doesn't matter to those people. I found it funny how many of the "conspiracy theories" were actually the truth from the get go. They're still banning certain people from social media for saying things the CDC themselves have said out of their own mouths. If you're on their side you're free to say anything you want. If you align politically with the other side, you're gone no questions asked.

there was more push back than they thought, in australia and some other european countries the people have let the government do what they want and they took advantage. johnson knows if he pushes us any more then hes out of a job, he may be a dead man walking for the BS hes done

I just read an article about a guy waiting on a kidney transplant and they told him they wont do it unless he gets vaccinated even though he's had covid already.
