Yeah, the whole VBplaza thing is removed so why even have points? I'm just glad I got to buy a name change with points before they changed it. My first username was so atrocious.

The only thing I really 'like' about the like button is you aren't limited to how often you can use it, unlike the green k system. It's nice to just show you agree with someone without quoting them again or to show you think something is funny instead of just posting LOL and contributing little else to the thread etc. It feels hollow though and then you get into the weird world of social media-type stuff of people posting certain comments basically farming likes. I dunno it's weird and I miss the old forum even though I'm a new poster in the grand scheme of this site.

I suspect they had a real programming issue that led to the abolishment of the "K" system. I think they would agree that the compromise is not really what people want.

I think VBulletin removed it from their newer versions, likely made it impossible to port over
