Don't think for a moment, the AG Letitia James, won't be running for Governor during the next state election. There's a reason she and the rest of the party were ready to sacrifice Cuomo. She is more radical left than he is, she's an ally of Bill DiBlasio, NYC mayor how was feuding with Cuomo.

I'm glad Dems did not go out of their way to prevent or limit investigation of the claims, as some others are known to do when their politicians of choice are accused.

Shocking that he resigned. Usually the ********s would try to bury it. It was known for years that he was a womanizer and the NY media used to praise him for it. When he was single that had him like the most eligible bachelor and a media darling. The same guy that made a bad call in COVID and then was overdoing his daily TV guidance that won him an EMMY some how. The same guy that said that NY State was not for gun supporters, religious people and pro life groups, the very tolerant left.

I love the denial. The reality is that he was accused, those accusations were investigated, Dems made no attempt to limit the investigation, Dems pressured him to resign, and he resigned. All exactly as it should have happened.

This was no Roy Moore, Brett Kavanaugh, etc etc. There weren't people mocking, shaming or threatening the victims, no political friends openly and freely taking every legal and other recourse available to inhibit investigation etc etc.

When it's one of your guys it's a whole different story and that will be easily proven again when another one is under fire.
