Stockport technically but right on the fringes where the suburbs give way to the outlying hills of the Peak District. Anyone gives a **** right near where the Peak Forest and Macclesfield canals meet.

Sounds sweet as bro! Countryside and city close by. I’ve never been to Stockport but I lived in Chorlton-cum-hardy in Manchester for a while. Manchester is an amazing city. Love it there!

Some great mountain biking around that way. Rode around the peaks a few times over the years.
