That's not true at all. I'm completely willing to hear anything that might mitigate my thinking. That's the reason I've been basically asking you what you are seeing that makes you think murder charges are an overreach. You made that statement just 2 days ago, so you must have based that on something. I was just wondering, if you already believe murder charges are an overreach, what do you expect the defense team to do to move your position? Obviously your mind is made up on that matter at this point, no?

So I was simply making it clear that I'm very open to hearing what convinced you of that.

This expert is being sued over his co signing a report in a very similar case.

Fowler and his assistant "intentionally concealed police responsibility in causing Anton Black's painful death, and instead falsely ruled, on behalf of the State of Maryland, that a Black teenager who died through asphyxiation at the hands of four white men resulted from 'natural causes,' or 'accident' thereby improperly insulating police officials from responsibility for Anton's death," the lawsuit says.

Defense gonna be out there saying climate change, fluoride in the water & cuz he ate a cheeseburger with extra cheese the previous day are contributing factors too I bet. Couldn't of been anything silly like a guy pushing his knee into the guys neck. That don't even make sense. Knees on necks killing someone. Be serious. Obviously these nearly a dozen random things came together all at once to send this guy to Jesus.

Second degree and third murder which Chauvin is charged with do not involve premeditation. They are appropriate charges due to his conduct. I personally think he is guilty of second degree murder. I don't think a verdict of manslaughter is a fair judgement of what happened and would be an outrageous verdict.
I would call that negligent homicide too, but that type of situation aligns more with how that charge is generally applied, to my understanding. He fired his gun, which is without argument, deadly force, and had no idea who or what he was going to hit.

Well they didn't charge him with first degree murder. Like I posted previously I don't believe he arrived at the scene with the intent of killing anyone but it could be argued that during the course of the arrest he made a decision to murder Floyd. Hard to believe for people that have an innate trust that the police will do the right thing but it is a possibility. I truly believe Chauvin is a psychopath. I'm not the only one.

What that guy is describing would still be 2nd degree murder.

Yeah probably. I think that charge is closest to what happened over third degree murder and manslaughter.
