Rico chased Carmen the whole movie while he had a nice piece in Dizzy chasing him. Makes no sense. He was infatuated with this cheating hoe when there was an equally hot girl who actually wanted him around right there.

They had to throw that in there for character development and emotional value. The movie was directed by the director of the first Robocop. It has that vibe and I thought both are great movies. -

I don't pay much attention to bull**** emotional nonsense in my actions, sci-fi, or fantasy.
People really like complex character relationships in their movies. Moral ambiguity and **** like that. I'm not a fan.
Star Wars would be better with less crying and talking - Which is why the best one is the first one, it's the only movie paced like a movie and not an anthology that has the time to tell side stories about feelings.
Dragon Ball fell off IMO in Z with all the bitching and whining between fights. Supe will always be cooler than Goku because like ERB said. Just one punch will leave Goku crying for the next 9 hours.
LOTR and GOT would be better with less sitting on ass talking about feelings. Saint George owns all their asses.
Lost was ******. Just ******. Very little action/sci-fi and just a ton of sitting on ass and talking.
Power Ranger reboot ****** because they turned the Ranger into the Breakfast Club which is an overrated POS anyway. ****ing teenagers with attitude son wtf. Not teenagers with emotional scars...ffs.
Consequently, my favorite Sci-Fi is Flash Gordon. His love interest is more or less just his cheerleader. Proper. Buster's Flash is always like a minute or two from throwing a punch to save the day.
The best fantasy films I've seen are **** no one likes above GOT or LORT like Army of Darkness, or, George and the Magic Sword. We ain't go no time for love, we slayin' dragons *****.

It's always there, well except for House 2. Definitely a movie made by a dude like me. Kick the bitches out early in the film and leave them the **** gone.
Anyway, it's always there and if it's just an element I don't give a ****, like in Starship, that's a good film because what I remember is space soldiers shooting bug aliens. Nice. Doesn't ruin it, but, I do not give a **** about those bits of story. Totally forget them.
I'm not sexist, I'm pro hero. If they did a Rogue movie and made Rogue proper cajun Rogue I'd watch that ****. If they made it half or more a love story I'd hate the movie. All I want to see is Rogue beat the **** out of fools, drop sweet lines, struggle to beat the **** outta main baddy until she pulls through and dominates that fool.

It's lazy writing IMO. If I didn't know how to fill my time with action I'd write a love story too. That **** is easy, just rip from Willie Shakes or Jane Austin and bop **** boom, you have a "compelling" story.

What does the lieutenant (Michael Ironside) mean when he asks the squad “DO YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER?!” He asks the question twice through out the movie.
To me it can be taken two different ways.
One way is you can establish yourself as a legend so your name will live on after your death. The other way is sort of jokingly pointing out who the fuck wants to live forever.
