Madrid, Barça, Bayern, and Juve haven’t looked good to me all preseason.
Think it’s safe to say the PL will dominate both European competitions this year.

I’m surprised it’s taken Barcelona this long to get stale. It’s just the normal shelf life of team but really you’d say they’ve been more or less top dogs for a decade - longer than is normal.

Even then they’ve refreshed it with Dembele, Coutinho and now Griezemann but they’re nowhere near as good as a prime Suarez, Messi, and Neymar supported by Iniesta and Rakitic.

Even Busquets is not as good

There is an element of luck about the CL but if you put all the teams in a league and made them play twice - they’d have won it more often than not in the last decade.

I really don’t like Barcelona either but I’m objective enough to see that.

ManUre have not strengthend enough, they will be lucky to make top 6.

Barça got away from what made them successful and that was grow their own players. Their best years for them (and for Spain) was when Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Busquets, Puyol, Alba, Piqué and others lead the team. All players from the Masia.

He’s decent but he’ll always be small, always make mistakes and always not actually be centre back.

He’s not a centre back. Always felt really uncomfortable when he played there for Chelsea. His instincts aren’t that natural.

Crazy isn't it? The gross over pricing of par players. I don't think they would have asked even that much for Wilson or that tiny winger before Maguire was bought for 80m. (not saying Maguire isn't good but perceptions and all that)

Luiz is a swindler though.

I've only truly disliked Big Nose. I won't even say his name to this day. Only Chelsea player i've could not stand but Luiz and Willian are dangerously close to Big Nose. First for being mercenaries (quitting on us while we were chasing 4th with Conte) and second for keeping Chelsea from progressing.
