I was hyped for this game, it was on my must buy list, but as more and more info leaked out it became pretty clear it's basically just a ton of cut scenes, some interactive (press X to dodge or some crap) and then it was verified when the youtuber uploaded the walkthrough vid that was just over 5 hours long. As a result I'm not getting this game at all (well maybe one day when it's like $15 or free for PS+ members).

Looks gorgeous though, give them props in that department, but it's not much of a game. More like a long interactive movie.
"Plumbers don't wear ties" takes the cake for long "interactive" movie...if you could call it that. 3 million views...this is the sorriest excuse of a game you'll EVER see.

I played it and it was alright. There were times during the cutscenes where I was bored out of my mind lol the pacing is ****ing horrible. The quick time events are annoying as hell too. It's like... you're watching a cut scene, except the cut scene can't move forward until you press a button lol... The cinematics on say Halo 4 or Halo 2 Master chief collection blow these out of the water.

The only good part of the game are the shootouts, coupled with the impressive atmospheric graphics effects, and the interesting weapons, there are moments in the game where you forget how crappy and empty it actually is and you start thinking hey this is a good game. But those moments only last for a little while lol.

People compare it to ryse because of its length and emphasis on graphics and nothing else, but ryse was actually a pretty good game. I had fun throughout the entire campaign, unlike with this game.

I wouldn't recommend buying it until it's like 19 dollars, and only so you can see what the PS4 is capable of.

The combat was good whenever it happened, but if you have ever played gears of wars you know it was a stripped down version of it which still makes it pretty good combat. Its already more than halfway to 19 bucks it's selling used in the upper 30s right now. I got 45 back cause I played it the same day it came out since I was sick the second I finished it I sold it on glyde so goddamn fast the price had already dropped to 40 by the time I mailed it

Never played gears, I skipped the last Gen cuz I was broke going through college.

They're going to anounce gears 4 at E3 so I imagine they'll release a remastered collection for the X1 at some point.

I bought the order on ebay for 38, then I sold it 2 days later for 40 lol
