Does anyone remember the Street Fighter II with the illegal chip in it?

Im talking about the actual arcade, not for any game system. There was a street fighter II Champion edition that had a chip in it that made the fighter be able to do all sorts of crazy ****. You would be able to change characters in the middle of a fight and moves that couldn't be done on the regular one. For example, Hadookens and flying uppercuts in mid air.

I knew it was illegal because this particular arcade was turned off at the coffee shop that had it. It worked fine, but the owner kept shutting it off on us because it "wasn't working right". Somehow someone put this chip in the arcade. This was being done alot in the town I grew up in.

Mind you this was back in like 1993-1994, alot of you might not remember this.

Anyone remember it at all?

It's funny how I can remember unique instances during my childhood that unfortunately has to do with gaming. I was at the airport down in Mercedita in Puerto Rico when I was a kid, and there was a guy playing SF2 there as his g/f watced. He was using Dhalsim against Chun-Li in Chun-Li's stage. Instead of teleporting, he turned into another character...which I found weird as hell since there was no particular move set that allowed something like that.

If I'm not mistaken, Dhalsim's teleport move was invented in SF Turbo, so it may have been that edition rather than the Champion edition, I dunno.

Either way, I distinctly remember that happening and being confused.

It's just as MGS1 (PSX version), where you get an alternate comment from Ocelot after the battle if you do really, really badly. Instead of saying, "You're pretty good...etc."

He should say: "I'm disappointed..." or something like that.

I haven't been able to repeat that scene again, although I'm sure I've seen it once. I'm not sure what you need to do (how badly you need to do) to get that. Continues? Health bar? Bullets? Baker's health? Time it takes you to defeat him? All of the above? Jeez...I've tried to get that alternate scene, but haven't been able to. I've even asked on GAMEFAQS and no one's been able to help me.
