  • He's RIGHT...Spence is the only elite fighter Crawford has ever faced whereas Burns & Postol are nothing special at all.

Meanwhile, Canelo has faced GGG (thrice), Bivol, Mayweather, Cotto, Mosley & Kovalev who are all elite fighters.

  • Disagree...the Benavidez fight might be wishful thinking but I don't think the Bivol rematch is totally out of the question if Canelo wins. Surely Canelo will want to avenge that loss especially with ALL the belts on the line if Bivol beats Beterbiev again. Also, Canelo is only 34yo so still has a few...

  • I believe that Turki would much rather Canelo wins because he's way more marketable than Crawford who sells next to NO PPVs/tickets in comparison. Also, a Canelo win could set up a Bivol rematch or fight with Benavidez whereas Crawford doesn't have any other similar intriguing fights lined up if he...

  • Lol true but remember that according to CompuBox, Bivol outlanded Canelo 152 vs. 84 punches overall and in ALL 12 rounds yet was only awarded victory by the narrowest of margins (115-113 on all 3 scorecards). Therefore, imagine how dominant Crawford needs to be in order to win the undisputed championship?...

  • Anybody else think Krassyuk looks like Kovalev's fatter, older brother?

  • 100%...Canelo is still a GREAT fighter who gave undefeated young guns like Munguia & Berlanga their first losses recently and beat the daylights out of Charlo. However, Crawford is an equivalent talent who's at the peak of his career. The ONLY thing that makes me lean slightly towards Canelo (bar...

  • I'm inclined to agree as Crawford is probably one of the very FEW fighters on the planet who can beat Canelo at this stage of his career (5 years ago would've been a different story). However, you have to remember that this is for ALL the marbles as opposed to a single belt so if he has another close...

This is precisely why boxing sucks (bar the Saudis), Dana White wouldn't allow this shit to fly in the UFC and would've FORCED them to fight before one of them left the division (just like Crawford-Spence could've been a different fight prior to Spence's car crash and hard partying).

  • I'm still shocked that such a highly experienced fighter and decorated amateur like Yafai got beaten up and lost EVERY round on home soil!...

  • Sasaki is TRASH bro...I was surprised to see somebody with your picking expertise choose him over Norman. However, props for getting the Yafai fight right - I did not see that coming....

  • Same...I was already amped but the face off just made my boner peak a little bit further! Seriously though, Canelo has schooled some tough young guns lately like Berlanga, Munguia etc and you have to admire Crawford's BALLS for jumping up 2 weight classes....

  • I don't think they'll give Crawford the undisputed championship if he runs all night...he has to TAKE the belts from the champion clearly....

  • I think you guys are underrating Crawford...if anybody can do it it's HIM as he always seems to find a way to win. Obviously it all depends on how he handles Canelo's power but Canelo is not the fighter he once was plus he didn't look too great in his last fight either.

  • Exactly...Canelo lost to GGG at least once (if not twice) CLEARLY so it's difficult for Bud to do much worse unless he stops him which is never going to happen....

  • Who else ENJOYED the Canelo/Crawford face off (NO Diddy)?

2 ELITE p4p fighters eyeing each other up like lions in the jungle just before they fight. It's difficult to predict a winner but what struck me most was how powerful and poised each fighter looked. They KNOW they've already achieved everything there is in the sport between them from conquering multiple...
