I suggest you to begin by throwing single punches while stepping in all 4 directions and also while pivoting. Practice it with every single punch with both hands. Than you can increase it to simple combos and slowly graduate to more complex combos. Make sure you are on the ball and first 2 toes of your rear foot all the time. Keep the heel part of your rear foot lifted all the time. It makes you more agile and you'll also both of your feet and hands would be quicker that way.
