Wouldn't recommend maxing out punches during shadow boxing. You could hyper-extend your elbows and unecessarily strain your shoulders. Shadow boxing is more about technique, footwork, agility and speed. Wouldn't focus on power.

Did I over train my CNS? I didn't do that much but was explosive stuff and everyday wo recovery days.

Its weird this little exercise shouldn't stop me but it has.

How do I get un- fatigued faster?
Check your calorie intake. Especially the carb intake

That's true... I kept doing that quick jab while shadow boxing. Now there's this pain whenever i put pressure on it

Punch to your heart's content but focus on speed and technique instead of power. For power work the heavy bag or work the mitts as you'll have something to absorb impact instead of putting the strain on your ligaments and muscles.

Saw a lot of that with Stevenson tonight, good mix of speed and accuracy

Indeed. Stevenson was still floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee in the 10th round which was pretty impressive. The guy wasn't tired at all! This strategy of fast and accurate punches whilst keeping himself at bay meant Diaz couldn't get anywhere near him for most of the fight due to the difference in reach.

All in stark contrast to Amir Khan who, despite landing some good shots last night, routinely overcommitted and was thoroughly punished by Bud Crawford for leaving himself open. You don't do that against arguably the best active P4P fighter ...

Going back to OP's original question about elbow pain. Be sure to incorporate a lot of push-ups and triceps extensions in your weekly routine. Strong triceps will absorb a lot of the impact and push/pull force which comes with daily training.
