    Bodyweight routine...

Should i make my bodyweight routine before or after my boxing training?
    Thanks...

I used to completely discount bodyweight and low weight training but it's been extremely effective for me in last year. I do bodyweight exercises, iso bands, and low weight/high rep exercises on days when I'm not boxing.

I don't do any of that stuff on boxing days though because my tendons don't like it. On boxing days I might do jump rope or other cardio, no weights. Results in fewer injuries and irritations for me.

If I had to though, I'd choose after for sure.

My team had a really complicated time this month with one of the coaches going to jail and the other one going to the youth world amateur championship, a tournament that i should have gone but i missed for being lazy, so i came back to put myself in shape and without the other trainer things have been rough when it comes to make a good program by myself, but i think i would try the bodyweight routine after the boxing training, if i get too tired i will try it going half before and half after.

I'm loving pure bodyweight stuff at the moment...Lots of interval training of push up burpees, bicycle crunches, straight leg toe touch crunches, push ups and variations and pull ups among other stuff... It's a pretty brutal routine, HIIT sort of thing, just before a 4K run. Feel like puking for the first K, then things settle down and I get through it.

        Loving it though lol

I don't think I could get through a full boxing work out if I did the routine directly beforehand though. I make sure I can have a long rest after or just do it on non boxing days.
