Why do some fighters wake up at 4am for instance and run and train at 12pm? Wouldn't it be smarter to train at 5pm for instance and run later I.e at 11? Or train at 12pm and run at 10 etc. It makes more sense as the fights are always at night. When you train so early and used to training at a certain time then your body isn't as energetic when the fight comes about

Well some amateur fights are pretty early, had one at 10am once.
I agree though, no point in waking up that early to run, just run when you can and like is what I say,

Jup seems better for overall energy and sleep rythm
Mike Tyson once said that he stands up at 4am to run not because it is any better for your physical condition but yiur mental condition.
Doing something you hate both mentally and physically gives you an mental advantage
Also:
Your body can recover better if you run, sleep and then train.
And they are celebs so runninf when everbody is sleeping is not chill because no crazy fans gonna follow you

I think people do the road work in the morning because there is no people on the pavements to avoid, the roads are empty so stopping for traffic is not a problem, I think people hate road work so they want to do it early fresh get it over with.

When you are planing a training routine late night cardio is like wasabi, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
