I've always done the low carb, higher protein thing.. but its important to note that I mean the starchy carbs... like no corn, all glutens and then rice and oats, and no refined sugars... that allows me to lose unnecessary blubber if you know what I mean. Then I load up on veggies with some fruit mixed in as my "cheating". NO dairy either. If you want milk I recommend an unsweetend almond milk. Great stuff. Then I get a lot of protein from beans and greener veggies because too much meat will make anyone bloated. Our body just doesn't digest it as fast. Try raw fish like sashimi if you want protein that is easier to digest... egg whites are a decent for too, but also in moderation...

Well, I don't know what's going on regarding any kind of contest, but I figure I'll post up a pic now, and then again in 6 weeks(June 3rd).
I don't have a scale, and there isn't one at my gym, so this will mostly be by looks. (Although if I had to guess I'd say I'm somewhere between 205-210. I'm 5'10")
Here it is, just started boxing last week.
Edit-Weighed myself at a friend's house, weighed in at about 208.

I didn't take any pics or anything, but i can tell you I'm about 5'11, and was 220lbs last week...
this whole week been doin nothing but working out, drinking water, and eating three meals....Not necessarily healthy meals, but no snacks.....
Weighed myself today, 219

i've been eating a little healthier lately ( less sugar ) and am walking around at 179 1/2 lbs. three or four months ago i was 188. i feel great, if life doesn't get in the way i'll be in awesome shape this summer, might even make 175, that's about where i'd like to be for walking aroundLast edited by phallus; 05-02-2007, 08:50 PM.
