Time rt hands to the body . And left hooks to the head.

Create distance so he has to step in jabbing and not get you on throw away jabs and half step on you.

Raise your jab hand higher, extend it outward, lightly paw or probe. It's like keeping that gun out. What you're essentially doing is creating an obstacle, making it harder for them to extend that jab and also skewing their vision.

Floyd, Ward, Klitschko, Hopkins, even George Foreman would utilize this maneuver to nullify the jab, or at least get them to worry about using it.

Edit: Also works incredibly well against Southpaws in conjuction with turning them

Always be looking to slip and do so while you move inside and punch. A good example is Matthysse-Postol which you'll see Saturday.

1) Jab with the jabber, to the head or body
2)Use head movement and slip and dip your way and **** to the body after the jab sails past your head and shoulders
3)slip and counter is your best bet

Outjab him by getting your jab off first is what I'd try to do. If you can't then pressure him and smother his jab. Slipping and counter works too.
