There are no miracle vitamins, protein shakes, diets, drills, cures for lack of speed, power, skill etc. etc. simply work on everything you aren't good at, work hard and you will see results. Don't just work on what you're good at because your skill won't advance and you will continue to lack in what you neglected. there are no specific exercises that will give you exactly what you're looking for. No specific pad work that will make you a god in the ring, no specific drills or anything like that. No specific style is better than the next or school of thought when it comes to boxing that will always outdo the next guy. The best you can do is learn from everybody and do anything and everything possible to better yourself as a fighter. Do all types of cardo, all types of weight exercises, all types of body weight exercises, all types of styles within your own skill set. Chances are what works great for you against one guy will not work against the next, don't try and perfect one specific style but rather learn to adapt to them all as best to your ability. Stop looking at the next man training and realize that what works for him may or may not work for you.worry about yourself and forget everybody else when training. Work towards bettering yourself for the sake of yourself and not to impress others. Basically what im trying to say is do it all and try your hardest to be proud of yourself and what you have accomplished. not my intention to quote nike but in all honesty, stop complaining, shut the fu¢k up and "just do it"

I agree with you 100% there are no short cuts, no special work outs, it takes hard work, and alot of it in the gym, I dont understand why so many young amateurs come to the forums and ask for advice here, this is really not the place for it as most who give advice dont even train fighters so why would you seek advise from them?
Plus even if they do train boxers they dont know you and your work ethic your weaknesses etc... Listen to your ****ing trainer thats what his job is, if you have questions ask him but most importanly do what he says....
I dont mind giving advice when asked, But at the end of the day I am not your trainer even though I do train fighters. I dont know your habits, I dont know you personally I dont know your behavour out of the gym....
I mean the most any of us can really say is ask your trainer what to do, and do what he says...
its not going to happen over night, you can not be a newbie to the sport and try to pull off a Holyfield work out, it takes years to get to that level

and don't be scared to fail. take the challenge, give it your all to win, but if you should fail at some point (whether it's diet, workout regimen, injury or fight), make it a learning moment, get back on the horse and come out stronger!
whatever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, truth! whenever u might fall, dust yourself off and get back up.

So true.
And also one thing i will add because while i like the idea that everybody wants to be a slick boxer on here. Not everybody can do it effectively.
Find your own style, if you try to imitate Mayweather or Roy Jones, you might get knocked out cause thats a risky way to fight.
And in boxing you don't want to start getting knocked out, cause a personal of friend of mine is a really good boxer, better than most of the guys who ever posted their fights on here.
But he got knocked out 3 times in a row and now his doctor tells him he should quit boxing...he doesn't even want to spar me anymore, cause apparently i hit rather hard even when i'm taking it easy, but that's a story for another thread, haha.
Boxing is awesome, and a great way to stop hanging out with the wrong crowd, get in shape and STAY in shape.
But at the end of the day competition isn't for everybody and some boxing(that is true for any form of fighting) trainers will train anybody to get paid.
Careful fellow boxers.
