I am going through some stuff in my life. My mind is blowing up. I have nothing else to turn to but to get back into the party scene which I left years ago. However, I want to keep training.

How bad does drinking, shrooms, and partying affect a boxer?

i think you already know the answer. drugs I don't condone, an occasional drink isn't a serious problem. If **** is hitting the fan, I would focus on training that much harder then, rather than turning to a 'party scene'.
strength of body, power of mind.
don't lose hope.

just have a few then smoke a blunt, it'll throw you off much less then if you're drinking 12 beers a night..

Obviously you should always try limiting the drinking as it can effect your results and as for weed try to keep it to once or twice a week at night after you've already worked out. The worst thing it can do is slightly reduce your lung capacity (studies show its reduction of lung capacity is minute compared to that of tobacco) As for shrooms well, IMO i wouldn't want to do shrooms more than twice a month because I imagine it can make you feel quite different mentally if you do it many times a month and who knows how it can affect your focus/mental attitude.

cry me a river sally. if your that mentally weak that you cant handle life without drugs and alcohol (or at least weak enough to pretend to be some addict to get attention on the internet) then you dont have in mentally to box anyways. alcohol is ok in moderation but drugs are for ****** hippies.
