    Crunches and abb stuff.

    I was wondering whats the perfect ehm.. position to do them crunches/situps? Because i just seem to get it wrong over and over again... I did a few on saturday... didnt do it well. my back hurt so ****ing bad. Espescially my lower-back. With one single-wrong move it hurt bad. You recommend doing it on like a matras?

      Is the pain you are getting lasting well after the exercise?

      when I first started doing crunches i used to get a sore lower back and aching neck, but it would only last while doing the exercises. Doesn't take long to build up strenght in those areas though. You just have to keep going and work through it.

          If the pain is straight after the exercise and its sharp pain then it sounds like an injury. Maybe you need to lay off the situps for a while and see how you go.

          If the pain devolps some time after it may be DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) which is perfectly normal.

                    anyone knows a good exercise to strengthen the lower part of the back.... i recently started to feel pain in there ebery time i force it a little bit....now its not hurting any more, but i dont want to have this problem again :S...
