When it comes to diet, I think it really depends on the person and their body. I have been through A LOT of supplements and have learned a lot about taking them. I think protein is a good thing to take; I take it, and I love the results I get. The one I have been using for a long time is GNC Mass XXX () Its a great supplement because its just what you need as a boxer: protein and energy. I work out hard 7 days a week, so I don't have to worry about the extra "stuff" being added; just muscle. In my opinion, as boxers, I think you just just stay with a good protein and a multivitamin. Everything else just tears down your body. Stay away from Creatine too. The way Creatine works id not good for your body. It is basically adding water weight, which can lead to "popping" muscles. Eat good, train hard, and will get results you want.

Stay away from fast food as much as you. It doesn't hurt to have fast food once in awhile, but make sure you are going somewhere descent. I usually stick with something like Subway or even Arby's. The main thing is DISCIPLINE. If you can conquer that, than the rest is easy. No matter if you are trying to gain weight or lose it, discipline is what makes the diet.
As for the "drinking", try to stick with something like Gatorade or water. Find something that you like, ANYTHING BUT SODA. Having a strict diet at first will be frustrating and make you want to quit. But one day you look back and be glad you did. You will be more energetic, look better, and have more confidence.

You can do it, don't give up. DEDICATION and DISCIPLINE

If your looking for a diet with a lot of protien check the slow carb diet.. It focuses on heavy protien (chicken, steak, tuna, fish etc. ) and vegtables. Peep this link / .... That should give you a good guideline to follow. It also allows for a junk day to eat whatever you want. Also stay away from the soda all together.. very high in sugar and its not good to drink your calories.
