This makes no sense. If the police come across a video of you deliberately shooting someone or doing anything that’s illegal, they won’t need to find a motive for why you did it to convict you. All that matter is that you did something g that was illegal. What world are you people in?

The prosecution has to establish deliberate intent to kill (or wanton reckless abandon) to get a murder conviction. Intent is what makes the difference between a voluntary manslaughter/murder and involuntary manslaughter.
There's a difference between malicious intent and mere negligence. Of course, there's also a difference between negligence and just an accident, but we haven't gotten to that point yet.
