I'm British but I don't just support fighters out of blind patriotism.
Boxing comes first. If there's Brit fighter who earns my respect, I back them and support them. Joshua tries so hard to say the right thing all the time, it's so obvious he's not being authentic to his true personality. As a result he's ****ing bland.
He's been hyped from the beginning, and he's just as guilty as Hearn, because he signed up for it. He knew Hearn was going to market him as the crossover superstar and he went along with it and played the Mr Perfect role to appeal to the grannies, kids and most importantly the sponsors.
This article shows what Joshua's boxing career is about ultimately - making big money out of his media friendly image, even though he's not good enough to lace a true great like Lewis's boots. You support a money making brand dreamed up by Hearn.
