I don't think most people have even heard of Marcus Browne. He lost badly to Kalajdic who Beterbiev beat easily. Just let him keep doing his Al Haymon ducking/protectionism thing in obscurity if that's what he and his handlers want, then talk about him more when he's relevant if they ever put him in with the best guys.
But as for his domestic violence history, isn't that a justice system issue? If he actually did something wrong to where he should be in jail, but the courts never put him in jail, then shouldn't Hauser be writing about corrupt judging in courts of law, rather than corrupt commissions (or judges) in boxing?
It was interesting he mentioned that the commission decisions are all made at the state government level though. That explains a lot, I wonder if it's the same in Nevada. Always seemed like the same corrupt people running the country were also running boxing. In any case, to be clear, I'm not suggesting Browne deserves to be in jail, or that the judges who presided over his cases were corrupt. I'm just saying, crimes are a legal matter, not a boxing matter, so if he's really a proven, repeat danger to this woman, Hauser should be looking at the courts not just the commissions.
This article just seems like more gaslighting in general. The entire country, and world, is corrupt, and no one is going to do anything about it, so we should all despair. That seems to be the real point of these articles, to make everyone despair, and to divide everyone. If Hauser really wanted to change things, I think his articles would go a lot further, even if it's just within boxing's corruption. He still hasn't told us any names of corrupt individuals in the NSAC or anywhere else.Comment
