What got him the opportunities in the first fight was that he was patient and Joshua lost focus trying to go for the KO. Ruiz counterpunched Joshua and hurt him bad.

If he becomes the aggressor this time, then it could be Joshua who catches him this time. In the first fight Joshua caught him while Ruiz was the aggressor, and then Ruiz caught AJ when he went on the attack.

That's the key to victory for Ruiz. He must turn this bout into a very fast-paced firefight. This way Joshua would be forced to burn up a lot of energy and stamina in fighting him off while becoming quickly fatigued again.

Good points but Joshua is more prone to a fast paced fight if the fight goes past mid rounds, either that or he really does need much better preparation for a fast pace /more volume punching bc stamina isn't the problem its a set pace he wasn't dictating .


Theres also a delusion that bc Ruiz won so will Fury and Wilder two non aggressive fighters who like fighters coming to them,makes zero sense and Joshua is a top 3 HW more then Ruiz on one loss,this is reality.

I think Ruiz might end up effing up by being overconfident. I think he has AJ�s number but if he thinks the same before the fight he might slip up. Not to mention that Ruiz would be underdog with most of AJ�s previous defence opponents so writing off AJ is just silly.

I was rooting for Ruiz in the first fight but now I want AJ to win to shut up all the armchair geniuses that claim to have predicted the upset and are now confident AJ is finished.

Shot that drop him didn�t really hurt him at all but was a short shot Ruiz didn�t see coming... he took a couple of harder punches after that and absorbed them just fine
