Comments Thread For: GGG: Sanchez Lived Whole Life In California, Not Mexican Style!

Andy Ruiz Jr. isn't the only prominent Mexican-American in boxing who has had his heritage questioned this week. Gennadiy Golovkin inferred during an interview with Univision on Thursday that his former trainer, Abel Sanchez, isn't an authentic Mexican because Sanchez is from California. Golovkin's unsolicited criticism of Sanchez continued the back-and-forth between the former middleweight champion and the man that helped guide Golovkin to prominence in the United States.

Golovkin never lived in Mexico either but he said he was Mexcican style all the time. This is him basically admitting he was fake.

A lot of it has to due with how Mexican Americans are raised. They often have parents from Mexico often who can’t speak English and those parents raise them to be extremely “Mexican?here in the USA. A Mexican American who doesn’t speak Spanish is seen as a “coconut? Brown on the outside and white on the inside because they only speak English.

Golovkin is losing it. He has taken one punch too many. He gets more irrational by the day. Something in his brain is disconnected. There are levels to being ****** just as there are levels to boxing. Golovkin has reached several more levels of ******ity in the last few months. GGG should seriously consider getting neurological tests done right after the Rolls fight.

Golovkin got a taste of real Mexican style against Canelo and now realises he was selling a cheap knockoff version. Canelo beat the Mexican style out of him.
