if AJ fights neither next year you have a point and i would fully agree, until then... Wilder has fought nobody but Ortiz and Fury (who he thought was a busted flush) why did he never fight Wlad all those years he could have instead of cans?

because wlad was the A side. wlad picked his opponents, not the other way around.

you dont pick wlad, wlad picks you. so wilder vs klitschko not happening is due to wlad bever picking wilder to fight.

AJ doesn't need to make excuses. He earned his belts in the ring. He has defended his titles against top contenders like Whyte and Povetkin and champion Parker. Wilder has only defended his title against one top contender in Ortiz or two if you count Fury who Ring magazine had as the 7th rated heavyweight. In three years Fury has only fought Wilder and two hand picked softies. AJ has defeated far more top guys than either Fury or Wilder in way less pro fights.
