So a fighter who depended on his footwork and athleticism wants to make a comeback at 44yo with a bum knee, huh

He must be desperate for money.

Since when does a guy who dominated and beat an opponent call for a rematch? That's only ever been old and broke guys, like Margarito and now Martinez.

Jeff 'The Hornet' Horn, after he UNANIMOUSLY (i.e. in dominant decision) beat Manny Pacquiao in the Battle of Brisbane, graciously offered Manny a rematch to let him prove it was a fluke outcome.

Of course, Manny would duck the rematch.

He see 40 year old Floyd fighting a 123 lb kickboxer for 3 rounds and Pac fighting Broner so he's like why not me? Very sad state for boxing. Wish these guys would just retire or stay retired.

Chavez Jr is even less of a boxer than he was when they fought. What weight would they fight? Four years is a long time to be inactive. Martinez lived off that spectacular KO of Paul Williams but he wasn't that special to me.

Sergio was my guy. The way hey chopped up Pavlik, the spectacular Paul Williams KO that you speak of. I absolutely loved his style of fighting.

Outside of those names he had a nice run on HBO against second and third tier durable guys where he commonly scored late knockouts. He didnt have the greatest career on earth, but that was actually pretty solid match making on his teams partyo build him up and put him in entertaining fights now that I think on it more. Still one of my favs.
