Comments Thread For: This Bud's For You, Crawford's Stock Continues To Rise

By Tris Dixon - In the end it was a story of two right hands, one that missed and one that did not. Terence Crawford was making the initial defence of his WBO welterweight title and for the first time in four fights he was back home in Omaha, Nebraska. His challenger, the once-highly regarded prospect Jose Benavidez, 27-0 going into the weekend, cut a stubborn figure all week, obstinately standing firm and defiantly not accepting a walk-on part of The Crawford Show...

How does it rise after a bad performance where he looked like he was going to lose to Mauricio Herrera's previously vanquished opponent before Benavidez's bad knee gave out, and then it still took Crawford until the 12th round to get rid of a sitting duck?

I swear, it's like some of these writers are literally being paid by the promoters. I'm not saying that's a fact or that I have any evidence of it, just that from the content of their articles, it really seems that way from my perspective.

There are promotional paid writers for sure. There's also promotional shills posing as posters.

Couldn’t disagree more with the title and article

Why would beating Jose Benavidez make Crawford’s stock rise he was something like a 30-1 underdog going in . Buds hyped to be if not the best one of the best P4Ps in the game today but all he fights are over matched lower caliber fighters

I thought fighting the best last and winning made your stock rise not doing what your supposed to do

WBC WBA IBF says Arum losing money. Crawford's good ratings and sold out arenas are fake news!

The author is spot on. Bud is blowing away his competition. His TV ratings are the highest of any boxing telecast all year. He’s being paid accordingly, out earning every one of his peers. At 3.6 million he’s becoming ESPN’s number one star boxer

                  Full narrative prose.
They think if they say it enough times it becomes true.
The (d*ck)writer(who seems like he took the entire build-up personally) going: "Ignore what you actually saw with your own eyes on Saturday. I'll tell you what you saw, trust me, Crawford Rocckkedd!!!

looks like ***** against a cripple and lunatics try to spin it.

The bum tour continues for Butt Crawford,
Hungarian/Latvian/whateverian KavaliuskASS up next for the bum hunter.

                  All in a days work.

Its about time these writers gave it up to Bud, this was long overdue. When Terence wins, Boxing wins.
