Idk about that. Most fans don't care who's the co-main of a PPV to begin with. Its only us hardcore fans that gaf. But you do get some Mexican casuals on board cuz of Chavez...and lets not bs like EVERYONE isn't doing some placating to that Mexican casual fanbase that can make you some extra money.

I mean ffs the last several years of Floyd's career he fought on Mexican boxing holidays, usually not even against a Mexican. But I believe there was always strategically places Mexicans on those cards the less Mexican or less Latino the opponent was or the smaller the fight was. Its not an uncommon tactic.

I guess those two are big enough to sell it then. Chavez name is still big no matter what but its a sad day when the big two names at HW needs a fighter like Chavez to sell their PPV.

I'd say its more about maximizing their upside then they NEED Chavez on the card. IF its even true cuz I think BPP is suggesting this is bs

But like I said go look at those Floyd cards back in the day. LSC was on a few of them. Broner was even fighting a Mexican on one of them I remember. Did Floyd NEED these Mexican dudes on the card to sell? Hell no, but it likely maximized his upside to to entice some Mexican casual fans who were on the fence about buying the card.

I don't think its ever a bad idea on a big US card to throw some Mexicans guys in featured spots. Its only gonna help you to do so.

Smart decision. Chavez Jr is a bigger draw than Wilder and Fury combined in LA.

After BBP's schooling of TS. I think the most like likely scenario is Chavez Jr is going to DAZN and Sr is hardballing Hearn in negotiations.
