As krikya360.com reported last month, former world champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-1, 11 KOs) has parted ways with Roc Nation, and the boxer has also parted ways with longtime promoter Caribe Promotions. According to Rigondeaux, he will soon start working with well-known manager Luis DeCubas Jr., who works with other Cuban fighters like Rances Barthelemy, Erislandy Lara and also assists Luis Ortiz. DeCubas Jr. works very closely with powerful boxing adviser Al Haymon.

A few years too damn Late Rigo, Sadly! I Remember Lara and Rigo defecting together, look at Lara's Career Path compared to Rigo. Lara has had a lot of success and made a lot of money. Rigo struggled to get the big fights and big paydays his entire career.

But Hopefully he is able to get one more run to close out his career maybe at 126 but I still don't see Frampton or Leo Santa Cruz fighting him. Leo I think is real close to moving up, if no Russell fight then I think Leo Moves Up. Leo Santa Cruz vs Miguel Berchelt OMG that would be a WAR! Would LOVE to see that!

But I will keep pushing Rigo vs Claudio Marrero, make it happen if he joins PBC!

It's a good move, especially if he's still sharp and wants to fight. Get to 122lbs, get a few wins rolling, and DeCubas Jr is in a spot where he's near enough to juice to angle for an IBF or WBC mandatory (with Rigondeaux opening up his style a bit likely getting Showtime interested I putting some money up for a voluntary)

This deal with haymon should have happened long long time ago ... maybe with haymon you would not fought at 130 , maybe , but you did and it was an embarrassing defeat .
Moving forward, at 122 you still might have some left , maybe fight at 126 with the jokes of panticruz, frampton and the likes.
Hope you stay at 122 and fight Roman , or the African guy ...

I gave Rigo enough chances to entertain me and its always been a complete stinkfest. I hope he gets his career back in order, but i dont think im gonna stay home on a saturday night to watch him fight.

Way too late. If nobody fought home when he had belts, even fewer names would want to fight him now. He's got nobody but himself to blame, he was told about the caribe leeches from the beginning, he was given chances one after the other and kept stinking the place, I don't think he'll ever be on TV anymore.
