It's one win, and I commend him for it, especially the durability and heart. But I remember the same rhetoric when Matthysse knocked out Peterson, etc etc.

I question moreso the reactions to often one legitimate win, how everyone gets carried away, and no one ever seems to learn. Not to mention that he has been outboxed for long periods in different fights. It doesnt bode well for him, Joshua is not Szpilka, Washington, or even Ortiz.

When you come down to it Joshua has only beaten one real top big heavyweight and that was Klitchko. Klitchko at the time was 41, had already lost and hadn't fought in 18 months and still Joshua had to get off the floor to finally stop a gassed 41 year old fighter. Joshua may sell more tickets but Wilder is the superior heavyweight and that can be proven just by how avoided he is by Joshua's management. If Wilder was an easy fight Joshua's management would have already made the fight
This is the epitome of what I'm talking about right here lol. Can't see what's right in from of him. Wilder had ample time to make the Klitschko fight, instead he let two younger, less experienced pros steal a march on him.

Some of you guys are a moth to a flame when it comes to punchers.

garcia - matthysse was an undercard on a ppv. wilder - joshua is the biggest fight in boxing with a bullet! not only that, these guys are young and can fight again! ali and frazier fought three times! and it's starting to look more and more like it is eddie hearn who does not want it to happen right away!

Noooo not like that New England lol I mean we have the massive puncher (Wilder) being hyped up to annihilate the technically better but extremely stiff boxer (Joshua)

Everyone expected Matthysse to demolish Garcia and it didn't happen. Everyone is expecting Wilder to demolish Joshua...

oh, well i woulnd't say i'm seeing the same thing, even on an american forum, in terms of who people are picking.

i really have only seen people start to shift to wilder in greater numbers after the parker and ortiz fights. i too am now picking wilder to beat joshua base don their last two fights, but i don't think it will be an annihilation. unless you consider a HW knocking another out in a good fight an annihilation. joshua will probably end up getting beat up, but it wont be one sided, if that makes sense. it's just HW boxinga nd that's how it goes a lot of the time.

He will barely have more than 2 or 3 fans on this forum a year from now. He has serious right hand power but he's pretty poor in just about every other area.

This reminds me of Jeff Lacy way back when. He was an incredibly limited and overrated fighter receiving unwarranted hype of crazy proportions and this European bum (Calzaghe) was avoiding him. We saw that happened and rather than give Calzaghe his props they just dropped Lacy right away and mysteriously now you go online and nobody is/was a Lacy fan. There isn't much loyalty among Boxing fans but there is a ton of hating and trolling.

I think most of these Wilder "fans" are more into a fake duck than the actual fight also.
