    Errol Spence Jr. will face the opponent everyone expected June 16. An ESPN.com report early Wednesday morning stated that promoters for Spence, the unbeaten IBF welterweight champion, and mandatory challenger Carlos Ocampo have reached an agreement for them to fight that night. Showtime will televise the Spence-Ocampo match from an undetermined venue in the Dallas area.

    Feel sorry for the mexican guy, no-one deserves a beating like the one he is about to receive. Maybe after Spence KHTFO we can have crybabies on here saying he was robbed?

      Too soon For Ocampo

      I can't believe Zanfer and Fernando Beltran would put Ocampo in this fight against Spence because Ocampo isn't ready for a guy like Spence at this point. Ocampo needed another 3-4 fights with a better level of competition in each fight leading up to a fight against Spence but now they're rushing this kid into a fight he's not ready for.

                Wut in the f#ck.

                How did Ocampo become the mandatory??!?!?!?!?????!????!? To me this is a fight that'd make me wanna drop a belt if I was in Spence's position of wanting big name brand caliber fights cuz this guy shouldn't even be in the discussion of being a Spence opponent.

                F#cking bs abc groups.

                Arguably Ocampo's best W is Jorge Paez Jr. There are a couple other wins he gots in & around that same level. This guy doesn't have a top 50 opponent W on his f#cking record lol. Rankings are so terribad in this sport.

                And he's just 22 so this asswhipping is coming too early & for no good reason & could f#ck up his long term trajectory/longevity in this game.
