In the BJS fight, I think first it was too soon for him, and also he tried to box the first 6-7 rounds and looked disjointed and lost most of them.
Once he realised he needed to go after Saunders and put it on him he more or less swept the back half of the fight but it was too little too late.
I think he would have learnt a lot from the fight and I feel it was more about experience. He is a late starter to boxing and sometimes these guys take an early loss or sometimes quite a few, but peak later.
Worth a watch if your interested in the division.

Something between Tim Bradley and Aaron prior in terms of style. That's how I envisage him having long term success.

Not on Earth I'm afraid.
1: Eubank would never lose to journeymen like Alcine and Rubio.
2: Lemieux got knocked out relatively easy by Golovkin, lol. He is so far beneath the big 4 at middleweight (Golovkin, Canelo, Jacobs and Saunders) that it's pathetic to suggest him as standing a chance against any of them. Saunders will beat him easily and Eubank, who is Saunders' equal, would do it equally easy, maybe even easier, due to a higher chance of scoring a knockout.
3: Lemieux's only semirelevant win was against Peter Quillin's wasted leftovers, lol. Eubank defeated Artur Abraham, who would still murder Lemieux today, despite being shot.
Eubank is better than Lemieux.

Pitiful argument. He may be better but he sure hasn't proven it.
And once decent win over a totally shot Abraham is not enough to eclipse Lemieux's world title win. Had Jr. beat Saunders, we wouldn't be having this convo but he didn't, so we are....
