That's what happened to Conor. Him being a neophyte got a rude awakening in the finer arts of 12 round boxing. Understandable since he is afterall a first timer in a pro fight.

What most saw is floyd picked him apart in the later rounds after gassing out. Floyd was just a man waiting for an apple to fall from a tree. Conor lost fuel

It's like this exotic car without fuel it can't run at all. What it can only do without fuel is parked for display. Easy to destroy parked.

Conor running out of fuel is like an exotic car with no gas.

And Conor's stamina was used to boxing rounds. This would have been a UD for Conor.

A novice boxer with 0-0 record, did that to Floyd. Wow! A guy who never fought in a professional bout all his life against the best defensive fighter. All those body shots and those head shots from his nice jab are a thing of beauty. Rounds were piling up for Conor, he just gassed out.

We all expected he won't last, but we never thought he can break through Floyd's defense and make a fool out of Floyd.

      # Props to Conor

      # mad skills

      # a rough diamond not even polished yet

Amazing circus show! One for the books!

An 0-0 fighter did this to floyd.

      god damn!

To the contrary...If it was an 8 round contest, Floyd would have started walking him down in round 2 instead of round 4...

The first round likely would have played out the same... Floyd wanted to test things out...

Edit: I didn't even realize we were dealing with a Pac-tard when I first responded...shouldn't have bothered..

Naah.. Got to give props where credit is due. Conor's great jab kept Floyd at bay for most of the rounds.

Like I said, Conor lost coz he ran out of fuel. He punch himself out. A novice mistake by a debutante.

Anyone with no fuel left is a sitting duck.

Floyd only had to pick him apart when Conor's gas tank was empty. Impressive? Not really.

Conor running out of fuel is like an exotic car with no gas. Can't perform.

First...you realize this is a classic boxing strategy right? Floyd is very cautious, and has GOAT level ring intelligence...he was just biding time until he wanted to go in for the kill...

Second, Conor himself said it was Floyd's adjustments that caused him the most problems...when he switched to a high guard and just came forward, McGregor admitted he had no clue how to stop him...

If The fight was shorter, you honestly don't think Floyd makes that adjustment sooner?

The boxing experts said conor wouldnt land a punch, wouldn't win a round, now that he did they are saying Floyd let him....boxing fans have some sort of superiority complex, they always gotta feel as though they know everything and they're right about everything

Conor impressed me . I haven't watched it back yet. He had good speed. But if I remember right he kept moving to same direction, and the big thing that made him lose is he gassed. He came to win. His team came to win. He was throwing arm punches but thats what made him land. Moretti was actually fair. The other two judges only managed to give conor the first round. Floyd hardly threw in some rounds so I find that hard to believe that conor only won one round .

                  From Conor's own mouth.

                  Yes, Conor it was fatigue.

                  You weren't ready for a 12 rounder.

Start @ 1:00 Conor: 'It was just fatigue'

@ 2:30 Conor: 'I don't think it was skill there. In another time I'll beat him.'

@ 2:48 Conor: 'It's an adjustment to go 12 rounds. You know what I mean from changing from 5 to 12. 5 rounds to 12 is a lot so whatever'
