Definitely looking forward to this fight. Both guys came up huge in their previous fight, and were the underdogs.

I wonder which fights make the televised undercard because I would think K2 would get one of their own undercard fight.

Rojas can seriously crack. Very heavy handed and fun to watch. Marrero is no slouch either. Looking forward to this.

It's about time! I remember when Rojas fought Arce, I thought for sure that I would hear more from this kid. Then, all of a sudden, he seemed to disappear into oblivion for a few years. I mean, he kept fighting and even avenged his lone loss but, even in PR this kid just wasn't making any noise for a while. Then... BOOM! He knocks this kid Lopez out and now, title contention. When he says he had to fight, he ain't f****** around. In my opinion, he should have fought for a title a long time ago. He is one of the more complete boxers to come out of PR and I think his promotional issues (almost positive he used to be a part of Miguel Cotto Promotions before signing with Javier Bustillo) may have gotten in the way of his title shot. Marrero is a good boxer with better than average hand speed and will provide Rojas with a good test. Pulling for Rojas on this one (as I do with every other PRican boxer, lol). Ahora es que se va a saber si el gas pela...

He signed with golden boy late last year that's when his career turned around. The Lopez fight was promoted as an eliminator for the title shot and on ESPN the eve of Canelo/Chavez. That win got him a lot of attention and obviously his title shot.

"I've worked with Jesus Rojas since 2014, when I saw him demolish his opponent, Juan Jose Beltran via knockout," said Javier Bustillo, Manager of Jesus Rojas. I had heard rumors of the great talent that was before me, and from the moment I started working together, I knew we struck gold. I haven't worked with a fighter that demonstrates the amount of talent like Rojas does. Signing with Golden Boy Promotions is a dream, not just because the opportunities that will be open because of this partnership but because Rojas is going to be exposed to a whole new fan base and a whole new world of boxers who he can ravage through. He is like a gladiator in the ring, tough, a prowler, powerful, and unafraid to step up into the plate. With 23 wins, and more than half of those being knock outs - I couldn't think of a better fighter at 126 pounds that deserves a chance to show the world what Caguas, Puerto Rico has to offer."

Heck yeah! I'm happy for Rojas. Dude should be getting more exposure to the U.S. audience more, he should have been getting exposure.
