As an Australian, I'm not 100% with the decision BUT very happy that Horn delivered a massive kick in the nuts to all the ignorant pricks that disrespected him before the fight

The kid has talent & heart which anybody who has actually watched him fight would know

Personally, I would have preferred to see him pay his dues in the States for a couple of years but that won't happen now so hopefully he makes a buck as he seems to be a nice guy

bradley knows what hes talking about hes just so afraid of debating he goes along with the program. horn won this fight.

        horn got my respect tonight.

fck a rematch lets go straight to spence vs horn.
What you said about Horn's attitude is true, but what you said about Pacquiao is wrong. Pacquiao is old. Just because people underestimated how old he was, and thought Horn was a C-level fighter when really he's B-level, doesn't mean Spence-Horn would be interesting at all. Let's see if Horn can beat Danny Garcia or even Jesse Vargas first. He barely beat a way past prime Pacquiao who is 38 years old and been in more wars than anyone in boxing and is only a part time boxer now. And it was in Horn's home country where he was allowed to use his head inside all night. That doesn't mean he can even be competitive with prime top welterweights like Spence in the U.S. where Spence will be the one allowed to break the rules, not him. Even in Australia it should be easy work for Spence, but maybe I'm still underestimating Horn who knows? Like I said, let's see if he can beat Danny Garcia first. If he can, then Spence would be interesting. Not now.

Yeah I hate biased takes. I think biased fans have played a major part in ruining the sport. Whether you thought Pacquiao or Horn won tonight, it's actually pretty disheartening to me to see how easily most fans are fooled by commentary. Now it makes sense why so many fans believed what the HBO commentators told them two weeks ago. They really do just believe that the commentators tell them. Bradley was the only one who you could tell was seeing the fight somewhat objectively, but then Teddy and Stephen A. basically bullied him into changing his statement from "the fight was definitely close" to "well he fought close enough for it being in Australia to get the decision, but I know he lost for sure." He seemed to get pressured into saying that.

I think if fans and especially commentators were more objective, the sport would be in a much better place.
As a pac fan I suggest you go back and watch this fight. Horn got a hometown decision. This decision's just another long list of why boxing's so corrupt!

I'm a big Pacquiao fan but he looked like **** all night, barely landed the straight left clean all night except the 9th round, and after two flurries to end that round he was spent the rest of the fight and gave away the final three rounds to Horn, after already failing to take control the first 8 rounds. You can't give away the last three rounds, and the first round, and split the middle rounds or maybe win them 5-3, and expect to win. His stamina is gone to **** and his style relies on high punch output, especially at welterweight where his opponents are too big to hurt with single shots. If he's going to fight with such low punch output, he needs to move down in weight where he can hurt guys with single shots.

I think everyone was fooled by the commentary, just like Kovalev-Ward. Atlas dominated the commentary and gave Pacquiao almost every close round. He ignored clean shots by Horn and kept saying Pacquiao was landing clean and Horn wasn't even when Horn kept connecting the right to the head all night and outworked Pacquiao to the body as well. Pacquiao's left looked old and just a tiny bit slow all night so he either just missed Horn or hit him with glancing shots, very rarely did he catch Horn flush. Atlas was imagining all the clean shots Pacquiao was landing, because he wasn't landing clean anymore than Horn was, and Horn outworked him.

Horn did use his head a ton though. Not as bad or intentionally as Ward, but he fought pretty dirty. Just in terms of punches landed though, compubox is complete fiction, and I do believe Horn outlanded Pacquiao. Pacquiao looked bad against Vargas but the commentators shilled for him then too. He did beat Vargas, mostly because he finally caught Vargas and knocked him down and then took over after that. But if he hadn't dropped Vargas he might have lost that fight too, because before that moment that fight looked a lot like this, with Pacquiao barely throwing punches and struggling to catch Vargas clean because he looked slow.

He's old. This was no robbery at all. You could give it to Pacquiao close but he was far from dominant.
Saved me the time writing a post. Completely agree. Well apart from I didn't score round by round and over the course of the fight thought Pac probably edged it but equally can't see how 115-113 Horn can be seen as outrageous. Dude definitely won 3 or 4 rounds clearly and there were about 5 really close rounds.

all of the sudden cumpubox matters and it determines the winner? lol... compubox is not meant to decleare a winner, it has no influence on judges. it was just created to ****e up the telecast for viewers at home. it means nothing. two dudes sitting ringside pressing buttons dont decide who wins.

That dudes more of a man than you. Manny would have tucked your future grandchildren in from knocking you out so cold with those shots Horn took.
