The ONLY reason why Golovkin has been at 160 for so long was because of Ward168

that's like saying the Qawi was at light heavyweight. you mofos really don't know **** about boxing. that's the truest statement ever made. a fighter shouldn't move up because dumb ass couch potatoes who can't do 25 push ups, 25 sit ups, or run half a mile without dying, say so. a fighter should move up when his body is struggling to make weight. one look at
GGG should tell you that's not the case. he's an average size middleweight and tight as a drum. he trains constantly and never gets out of shape, unlike many modern fighters. hagler also never struggled with weight because he stayed in shape. so there was no need to move up. **** you fools that never been punched in the face

you do realize Team GGG wanted Froch and Chavez Jr. at 168. Hence, 168...

what does that have to do with ''struggling'' to make weight?

what other name in the title of this thread was mentioned?

I'm one of the few boxing fans here at NSB that said Golovkin could be a 2 division champ.

I guess your expectations are limited

we all know ggg's team wanted promotion within 2 of the biggest boxing food chains:Britain and Mexico..in the end ward was ready to get back in the ring and used GGG's name to promote his inactive shelved career.ward knew he couldnt make 168 anymore,he even said it after the BET fight of the year fight vs smith. he knew couldnt make it but he kept mentioning ggg to make him self relevant

if you're implying that he didn't want ward, correct. but that isn't why he stays at his natural weight, genius. for one, froch and Chavez jr would bring a lot more money than fighting ward. each one has an entire country for a fan base, whereas andre ward has Oakland California, and all the weed dispensaries behind him. sorry, but that's not enough to justify fighting a very good boxer, who'll also use his head, forearms, and hold, when you can fight someone of similar size who'll most likely stand and fight, and you can make a whole lot more money. I love and appreciate the skills of ward, and he's a winner, but fighting him doesn't do a whole lot for business, or for the fans. ppl don't form lines around the block to see that style of boxing

if he couldn't make 168 anymore, then why didn't K2 troll 166, 167, or 168 in headlines? this isn't hard to figure out... is it your opinion, fans, or industry knowing for a fact that he couldn't make 168? Again why 164 from K2? You're even acknowledging that Golovkin can make 168 for Froch and Chavez Jr....

                      hard to refute innit?
