As Sugar Shane posted a few days ago, it's the fighter, not the promoter, who calls the shots. This isn't on Oscar.

Canelo gets my respect if he fights GGG at 160 like he said, next fight. Not going to happen.

For all intended purposes GBP is still negotiating a 3xG fight....everyone is hating on Nelo saying he is yella and dropped the belt NOT to face him.....

Not sure what they advised him, but I bet Canelo would go right at GGG if he had his teams backing

I think they understand the threat that GGG is
It's not the loss, it's the possible damage (Canelo will lose sooner rather than later , he is no where near unbeatable.. Which is why they cherry pick for him )
In saying that, he is definitely a good fighter , just not as flash as they want me to think

I never called him a coward at any time. Martinez, Cotto, Quillen, Saunders and Jacobs all avoided or are avoiding fighting GGG. I fail to see why Canelo is any more of a coward than they are. Only the boxers who actually fought GGG or the ones who are willing to fight him, namely Lara and Eubanks Jr. are any braver than Canelo. If Canelo did fight him I would respect him just as much if he lost and I am reasonably sure he would lose.

If Canelo fights GGG at 160 he earns my respect. It wasn't until he won the title and dodged GGG to fight Khan at 155 and then dropped the title that he lost my respect.
