Gee I wonder why spence picked wade?? LOL. Black americans cant stand the fact that a nerdy looking white guy is running through and embarassing the "super athletic" black fighters (stevens, monroe, wade) .

However, it was clear that Mayweather wasn't a real 154 lber, considering he never weighed in more than, what, 151? He was just good enough to beat bigger guys.

Gennady is a real MW, though not a huge one, and I thought a fight with Ward was a bit more realistic, even if Gennady has never even fought (much less held multiple titles) at 168. And since Ward has moved up, a fight with Golovkin is now fairly comparable to Gennady fighting Floyd.

I've noticed that the Golovkin-hate crew loves to bring up the 154-168 talk, but then seem to conveniently forget that Floyd just said himself that Golovkin would be quote "easy work." Why aren't these same posters demanding that Floyd back up his claim, just as they demand that Gennady beats the top fighter at 168 (or 175, or whatever).

I'm a big fan of both Mayweather and Golovkin (which seems to be incredibly rare on this board) and the constant bickering between the fanbases is annoying. Especially when every Golovkin fan is accused of being a former pac fan that switched teams after the loss. May be true in some cases, but not in this one god damń it. I hated Pacquiao. I also didn't like the 164 thing with Ward. Although I imagine it was a ploy to hold off on the fight while Golovkin waited for bigger fights with Cotto or Canelo, it did look hypocritical. But I say fućk the CW, because I'm a real fan and I think G beats his aśś anyway. As for Canelo, he doesn't have that excuse. What big fight is he waiting on? Knowing his fight night weights, it seems obvious that he isn't undersized, he just doesn't want to get beat up.
Difference being everyone from 135 to 160 has called out floyd bc he's a cash cow. Ggg is not, and while he was proclaiming to be "the most feared fighter" there was one glaring match he could have taken. Floyd has also fought a record number of champions while ggg has not. Floyd turned down ggg and fought canelo, ggg turned down ward to fight stevens. Not the same. But I do enjoy gggs style as well, just wouldn't label myself a fan. I think Canelo just wants to capitalize on marketing for the fight and that it will eventually happen. Canelo is bonafide ppv right now, ggg is not. I think this has more to do with business than fear of losing. Canelo was assuredly going to lose to floyd but he wanted the fight anyway, bc of the business end.

        That says it all.

That was truly easy work for GGG. He displacement of Wade was a masterpiece.

Nah... Ward will find a way to walk away after he gets his $3-4 million for those "tune-ups". Ward ain't that ****** in order to fight Kovalev.

The size difference between Ward and GGG now is more than GGG and Spence. So why doesn't Spence fight GGG? I bet he would change his tune if that was suggested.

Anyway, Spence is going to get wrecked by Kell Brook if they ever fight, i'm very confident about that.

Why are people so salty over Spence rooting for someone under the same promotional banner as him? He said (on a tweet the thread starter ignored) that Golovkin would beat everyone at 160lb. So what if he believes Ward would beat Golovkin? Whether people want to admit it, it was one of the most relevant potential match ups around that weight.

Golovkin's Gullible Groupies are one of the most rabid sets of fans to plague this sport.

spence can actually easily move up to middleweight. he comes into the ring around 170+ lbs. he likes staying at welterweight thought because he can feast on smaller guys like the punk coward he is.

This sums up what i said earlier, Ward is there only hope. Im cool if they wanna see this fight just because they want to see the best vs the best but this is not the case. They wanna see him lose bad so they could then call him a bum, they will take joy when GGG loses, just watch.
