If negotiations with Haymon were "a breeze" then maybe they could negotiate a fight with Lara or Danny Jacobs next??? I've heard Lara state several times that he would fight GGG, so it shouldn't be a problem! Maybe HBO is the problem!!!

It's obvious to any unbiased observer that Jacobs doesn't want to fight GGG yet.

What they meant: we'll fight anyone from 154-168 as long as we dictate all terms, as long as we get the lions share of the money, and as long as your name isn't Andre Ward.
Kicking 35 in the azz and not one A list opponent yet.
If you think the pro Mexican WBC is gonna strip Canelo, you're lying to yourself.
Except that Ward can't even make 168 any more. But that's his problem, not Golovkin's.
And the WBC will have no choice over stripping Canelo if he won't fight GGG at 160 and Golovkin won't give him a cw.
Golovkin has a legally binding contract with them and has been paying sanctioning fees for the diamond belt they gave him when he beat Rubio.
The WBC have already been sued once for breaking a contract with a fighter and almost went bankrupt. They're not going to make a mistake like that again.

People like us only get to see the tip of the ice berg. Just enough to keep us talking and guessing about what's happening below the surface.
What's happening is that little snippets of info like that will be given out. People will start talking and speculating, and interest in GGG vs Jacobs will start to build. Maybe to the point where Danny would get the $5 million he said he would want for fighting Golovkin. He would lose, of course, and he wants as much compo as he can get!

You hate Floyd right?

So you believe the WBC will strip Canelo? Lets review
The same WBC that let Canelo fight a third tier 147lber (M Hatton) for their 154 lb title?
The same WBC that allowed his defense vs the number 4 ranked contender (R Rhodes, a joke all by itself) to count as a mandatory defense?
The same WBC that allowed Canelo to defend the 154 lb title vs not one but two career 140 lbers (Gomez, Lopez)?
WBC strip Canelo? I see where that fits your agenda but not gonna happen.

The Ward and Lara PPV's would do a whole lot better than what lil g and Leimux did. And I don't even think Lara and lil g would be on PPV. The only reason Canelo vs Lara was on PPV because of Canelo and his star power. lil g and Lara could fight on regular HBO and pull good numbers.
Ward and lil g is a PPV but like we both know who wins that fight. Ward has every advantage over lil g. Skills, boxing IQ, defense, better resume, size, and he is younger. That would be a white wash.
Only reason I want to see the fight is to shut these clowns up. If they didn't make ****** statements like this and he fought better comp more people would support lil g.
