Sad thing is, if De La Hoya said it, some Canelo fans would believe it.

Like Canelo is JRMW because he fights at 155. Umm, ok.
    Lololololololololololololol. You dopey ****.

Canelo would land a big shot on Cotto and everytime Cotto's brain would scrabbled and he had like a 3 second delayed reaction LOL!

Steve Kim reported that the purses from their first fight still haven't been fully paid out b/c GB is suing RN over Cotto vacating the belt at the last second.

Cotto is too small, he can't beat Canelo. The scorecards were bogus but it was only an issue because Cotto deserved more credit for how well he fared trudging through an uphill battle.

I think Canelo beats Cotto 19 out of 20 times after what I saw. Younger, bigger, stronger, faster, sharper... No rematch necessary, it's purely a money move for all parties involved this time.
I doubt it still is a 'money move' in a rematch. Cotto did the most of it, already.

I don't think it would make as much as the first fight, but I could see how it probably does still make more $ than each fighter's alternative opponent choices. Probably even GGG, sadly.

OK... Then vacate and do it...

Absolutely no idea who he should fight next, but it shouldn't be Canelo
Agree on all points. Cotto is my favorite of his generation, but I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo knocked him out in a rematch. Canelo tested Cotto's power and was not bothered by it. Canelo would be less cautious in a rematch...which could backfire, but could also result in a KO.

No rematch. It was a clear victory. This is just a way to further duck Golovkin. We've seen this fight, lets move on.

Absolutely NOT. That would be a travesty.
