The Ramadan reference is relevant because Khan used it as an excuse before.

What is offensive discussing Ramadan within that context?

Stop acting all sensitive and 'offended' and just discuss the topic.

Is it really that complex or challenging?

Dirk you do realise you have made people despise brook on here because of you

Saying he was all that and then U.K.
Fighting the Gavin's of the world

Be patient, brooks whole career has been built because of Khan. He is the c player here, when it's time to fight it will be time

Until then threads like these are pointless because you are also guessing

I am certain brook does not want he Khan fight by the way, he is just building his name and his next duct will be another rubbish one

I don't think Brook will fight Khan early - mid 2016.

Eddie Hearn needs to milk Brook with a couple more bum fights first.

Also it benefits Brook if Khan stays inactive longer or is forced to take a high risk fight to remain relevant.

It's a sad indictment that neither fighter will commit, the longer the wait does not always mean that the fight will always have the same appeal to the public.

This is not Mayweather VS Pacquiao, despite what Team Khan / Brook keep telling everybody...

Khan doesn't fight DURING Ramadan. And, after Ramadan he neds a month to get his body back to normal, after which he has a 2 month training camp if he has a fight. So, out of the year, he's unavailable for 2 months (during Ramadan, and the month after Ramadan), not the month prior or anything like that.

Khan will KO Brook this summer. So calm down, sweetheart.
As a ******, I can tell yo uI wouldn't like to fight 2 days before the start of the month. Just from a physical standpoint that would be exhausting and to be hurt, try and recover in 2 days and then fast, no, ain't happening.

If Hearn and Brook are serious about the fight (Brook probably is but Eds slimier than his father), then why not place the fight in May? If negotiations are truly under way and Hearn is prepping his man for he bout, it gives them close to 5 months to prep and train and so on.

May should be the date, no excuses.

And if Wembley isn't available for May? I'm pretty sure Hearn would have looked into that.

The Ramadan excuse would work if Khan hadn't fought just before Ramadan in the past.....but he has.

Now he needs "a couple of weeks" to prepare for it

All Khan does is lie and contradict himself. I'd be surprised if he actually followed the rules of Ramadan behind closed doors.

              What do you think, sweetheart?

Hearn admitted in a recent interview that Khans team contacted him twice and asked him to send the figures over, and he hasn't got around to doing so.

It seems Hearn has taken his feet off the ball, either he is intentionally trying to delay things in a hope to milk Brook for a further year against low caliber competition. If they cant book it for May, it will be because Hearn purposely delayed things

Sending those figures over should be his no1 priority

He has sent them the figures. Waiting for a response from Team Khan.

Unless he has provided evidence, it's all talk.

Anyways, don't worry. Khan-Brook will happen. If it happens in 2017 though, that'd be great for both. More money...

Amir and Kell should fight all the other champions at 147, take all the belts, and then fight each other at Wembley to crown the King of 147. That makes more sense, and that is a big PPV fight.

At this point, who has Kell fought? Other than Porter, there's nobody on his resume. Khan's resume is stacked. Khan is wanting to fight more dangerous fighters than Brook: Pacquiao, Mayweather....

Absolutely pointless, I think no religion should restraint your career and its blatantly obvious Khan is being held back by this as a fan I don't care what he follows I like him regardless I just think its pathetic that some people use this as an excuse...
You're a young man who has a career you don't need to do all this weird crap you'll have plenty of time to be a brain dead drone that believes in Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy when you eventually retire.

Boxing isn't easy. Most fighters after a fight will feel headaches, and what not. Some might be injured, or piss blood... It makes sense. Before Ramadan starts, Khan would want to take a couple of weeks off, get the headaches away, hydrate, get healthy and then go through Ramadan (which is tough because your'e going 14-16 hours without food or water).

So, let the guy take a couple of weeks off before Ramadan. He needs to. If you ever fought in the ring, you'd understand.
Wtf? You just went from saying Khan you don't know why Khan said that...to defending him.

Khan simply ducked Brook and used Ramadan as an excuse. You don't need ANY time to 'prepare' for Ramadan. I would understand if he said he can't fight right after Ramadan, but before? It makes zero sense.
