There appears to be a ring of truth to what Andre Ward is saying. I might be wrong here, but it does seem that in recent years, HBO has been attempting to build stars surrounding their Eastern European bloc of fighters: Such as Golovkin, Kovalev, the Klitschkos and more recently Vasyl Lomachenko. For the exception of Ginger Alvarez there is not another North American fighter in their promotional mix to help build a fan base around.

big Ward fan here but he is getting on my nerves lately, this is all BS/nonsense .. he was allowed to clean out his division a long time ago, Golovkin is trying to do that now, no one got together back then to pressure Ward to Light heavyweight, no pressure back then even as he fought Dawson at 168(that was Dawson's fault lets not forget that), but now its time to go to light heavy and its been time to be honest.. Golovkin will move up soon, when the time is right, I do not think it will take long after(IF) he becomes lineal at 160

1. There's hardly any Americans in the p4p lists. Crawford and Bradley are highest ranked, and HBO loves both guys. Best of the rest are with Haymon.
2. They've stopped pushing Klitschko like 10 years ago. They now show him cause he's the dominant HW champ and doesn't cost them a lot
3. GGG and Kov are just a great deal for them. Both really cheap for what they bring, will fight anyone HBO proposes, will travel to opponent hometown if that's where the money is, exciting styles. Ward is the opposite on all counts. Somehow they still love him but he's just giving them less and less to work with

Wtf is Ward clowning about? Golovkin has been getting sht from every ****** for years now about moving up. There's a weekly article from someone else who's saying that Golovkins tests are at 168.
The difference between him and Ward was that Ward got all the top fighters contracted to him during Super 6, and he cleaned out the division. Golovkin on other hand has been chasing different champions for years and dealing with politics and excuses, from Strum to Martinez to now Canelo and possibly BJ Saunders if he beats Lee.
Ward said he's gonna be HW champ by 32, and he's just starting to get crap about moving up.
Golovkin, a career mw, said he'll only move up or down for a big fight, and the whole ******ed fan base is still trying to use the '154-168' comment from 3 years ago against him.
This is a perfect example of whiny, entitled American who thinks the world revolves around him.

This whole, he has to move up nonsense by the fans is a new thing, you guys are spoiled from Pac and Floyd doing it.
When guys like Kostya Tszyu or Bernard Hopkins dominated there division for years and unified the titles, we praised them for it, and called them some of the best ever.
Now fans cry that a fighter is "ducking" an opponent not even in the same division. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the sport by this generations fans.

I don't see how any unbiased fan can't see how fighters are literally running from GGG.
Froch the toughest dude in the sport flat out said he won't fight him.
Chavez ran from the network despite being offered a massive payday.
Cotto and canelo are already making excuses.
Dudes like Quillin, Jacobs, Lara constantly say his name, but never once made an attempt to fight.
GGG's management literally goes right down the list of he top fighters to find opponents, its not his fault Monroe is only one who wants to fight.
GGG is that good, if people can't see that I don't know what else to say.Last edited by AddiX; 11-07-2015, 02:12 PM.

How many times do I also have to say that most of the 160 dudes don't wanna fight him ?
How many times do I have to say that he's already beatin the best that the division has to offer ?
You mustn't be familiar with any of my past post . My issue with him is that the guy who runs to him (Ward) , he runs away from , and it's a winnable fight for him possibly . It's a good viable matchup , probably the best in boxing right now .
