pbc's model is a step in the right direction in some ways (and less so in others), but hopefully even if it ultimately fails the landscape will look a little different afterwards. i wish a few boxers would read some marx and unionise lol
I don't buy into that blame Al Haymon, Top Rank, HBO, Showtime or whoever. If a fighter makes a demand his promoter will make it happen. They hide behind the politics because they want to and are getting paid good money to take the easy route.

There are so many Golovkin fans that sound like scared little girls. "B-b-b-but HBO and 1-1-1-1-160! H-Haymon doe!"
It starts there. Why would K2 make an offer to a fighter who can't fight on HBO?
Tom Loeffler already said they are open to Lara as an opponent, provided that the fight is at 160 and ON HBO.
That what it has to do with what you said, you dumb****.
Why do you dip****s keep saying this is an excuse? How can the fight happen if Lara can't fight on HBO? How?

But he has a promotional team that is looking to take the easy road, hide behind the politics and hope he gets selected by a big name.

What network did Canelo and Lara fight on?

Group 1: Step up and fight somebody. You have good talent that should let you compete with anyone from 154-168. Stop sitting around and hoping for a golden ticket.
Group 2: We enjoy watching him beat up bums. We don't want to see him challenged. Floyd and Cotto are ducking doe.

Golovkin's team should put in their own work to find out if he can, and if he can't, try to convince them to let him. Froch isn't happening, and it seems the next best available fight is Lara. Make it happen.
How insecure are you about Golovkin looking bad that you don't even want Golovkin to try and make this fight?

I don't ever see the real Golovkin fans make so many excuses. Some of them are getting anxious and fed up, too.
