Rocky Balboa is a fictional character created by Sylvester Stallone.

You know what "fictional" means? It means invented, imaginary. Like a fairy story or the crap you have in your sig.

Stallone got the idea for Rocky from Chuck Wepner's fight with Ali.

"Rocky" was a journeyman, a bum, a "can" who somehow managed to get a shot at the world title and surprised everybody by taking the champ the distance.
