Comments Thread For: Arum: Miguel Cotto's Return Still Being Worked On

With the dust settling on the boxing calendar and plenty of big fights being consummated( first and foremost the May 2nd showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather) it's still not clear just when and where WBC middleweight titlist, Miguel Cotto, will return to action.

Cotto fought last June where he dominated Sergio Martinez over 10 rounds at the Madison Square Garden in New York. He hasn't fought since. Recently, promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank - which has a working relationship with the Puerto Rican star - told the El Nuevo Dia that the three names being discussed are Tim Bradley, Brandon Rios and Cornelius Bundrage.

"At this particular point we haven't focused on it," said Arum to krikya360.com

OH REEEEALLY???!!! YA' THINK???!!!....poor Cotto, stood up at the alter.....guess Canelo's deadlines aren't so "imaginary" now, huh bigjavi?

...and all Cotto fans pokin' fun at Canelo because he's not fighting on the same day as Mayweather-Pac....AND COTTO CAN'T EVEN FIGHT A MONTH LATER FOR THE SAME REASON!!!! LOL!!!...5 de Mayo weekend 2015 will STILL have the biggest boxing event in a while!...and Puerto Rican Day weekend?........... (crickets)......

every single time cotto even ponders the idea of fighting GGG, he's reminded by the man that took his soul and left him for dead to avoid him at all costs. cotto has the people fooled, he's still a walking carcass. his soul left his body at a faster rate than rubio's did when he got crossed over by harden last night.

You know I always thought Cotto was delaying Canelo to keep himself open for Mayweather. Is it possible he delayed because he wanted to make sure Roach would be with him?

Makes sense. It slipped my mind that Pac would be with Roach full time.
