floyd laid against the ropes and soaked up all manny's punches .5 years ago there may have been more punches, but they would have ended up in the exact same place only more quickly.

floyd stood his ground in this fight and was physically stronger than manny,i guess manny prepared for a scared running weak floyd....that guy does not exist, its a myth.
I think this fight showed that Mayweather would beat Pacquiao even more in their primes. He can clearly take Pacquiao's "deadly" punch, only he would've been faster, better reflexes and Floyd would've let his hands go much more. Floyd was always the superior fighter. It's easier for someone to throw 1000 punches in a fight when the other guy isn't countering!

        Pac fan since day 1.
Gotta give props to Floyd, he knows what to do to win fights. He won the chess match regardless if his tactics are exciting or not.
He beat Pacquiao and proved he is indeed the best of this generation.

Where was the volume punching from pac?

When he actually let his hands go he was successful but instead he tried to "box" mayweather, what a joke.

Boxing was back on the biggest stage and that was the fight we got, casuals will think "and that is why I dont watch boxing".

about a weight class between the two.mayweather didn't even do the unofficial weigh in which tells he is heavier then hes been in the past.he was probably 160lbs

It was what it always would have been.

A very good fighter was thoroughly outclassed and schooled by a sensational fighter. 118-110, easy.

Floyd caught him coming in enough times to make Pac gunshy.

Getting caught with a straight right as you come in aint no joke.
