Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin To Fight Up To Four Times in 2015

WBA/IBO middleweight titlist, Gennady Golovkin, who faces Martin Murray in Monaco on February 21st, has been one of the busiest boxers in recent years. Since 2012 he has fought nine times, which is extremely active by today's standards where most championship-level boxers perform on average about twice a year. And you can expect that work rate to continue in 2015.

What an absolute treat its going to be seeing GGG demolish Martin Murray in Monte Carlo. Golovkin is the most active champion in the world and the most feared.

And Andre Ward will fight zero times in 2015, but Ward's advocates will be claiming that GGG is running from Andre (who last fought on 11-16-2013).

and at this rate with ward not even announcing a plan to come back there's a pretty good chance he wont fight at all in 2015 which is just sad.anyway this is why Im a fan of ggg he wants to fight the best and fight often.all fighters should fight at least 4 or 5 fights a year enough of this 2 fights a year bull****.

This is the only real champion left in boxing. No disrespect to Klitschko, but this guy stays hundred times busier than him. All of the Andrades and Stevensons better take notice, real champions fight anyone...anywhere. They don't acquire one belt and camp out on it.

GGG could face Lemieux next after Murray if the "good boy" plan happens
